One of the great things of our job is we get to deal with some bloody good buggers – Andrew and Shane Brooker from Brooker Farming just out of Christchurch certainly fit this mould.
The work this unit undertakes means it is built slightly differently to your normal dropside tipper and to Brooker’s requirements. Versatility is the key so the truck is set up to cart, hay, fert, seed and anything else the farm requires. Drop in sides are stacked vertically with posts stored on the headboard. Overdimenson flags are tucked away neatly at the front. Rubber seals are fitted on the posts to keep the fine seed in and the grain door shute is built to suit.
