Here at Mills-Tui, we’re all about continuous improvement by building the next unit better than the last and I reckon this is definitely our best logger to date.
Showcasing our new 5 axle Low Ride multi bolster trailer and our new Tui Tensioners it’s been a pleasure to build this log unit for Richard Skudder of Mountain Transport. The step deck trailer features a straight through chassis at the rear which has been achieved by using Hendrickson Low Ride suspension. By using this design the tare weight comes out at a pretty good 6,200kg allowing maximum payload. Our new Tui Tensioners are a compact winch type design making keeping the chains tight an easier job. There’s been a lot of hours gone into design and testing and our tensioners are designed to be an easy weld on part. Richard has finished this unit off with some stunning detail of the K200 including getting Mills-Tui to fabricate the twin stacks and air intakes.
