Heavy Transport Engineering Repairs

With a full service and repair facility in our Rotorua factory, Mills-Tui has the capability and capacity to carry out repairs and maintenance to all types of truck bodies, trailers, fire and emergency vehicles. This includes repairs to steel and alloy bodies, chassis repairs, brake and suspension work, COF repairs, hydraulic and auto electrical. We can also test pumping equipment on fire appliances.

Has your truck body or trailer been out working hard and need a birthday? Mills-Tui regularly completes refurbishment work for our customers from minor cosmetic repairs to full rebuilds and modification. Repairs can include body and structural repairs to arranging a full repaint. If the specification of your vehicle no longer meets your requirements, talk to our Engineering team to discuss with you options to modify your current truck body or trailer to better suit your application and maximise your payload. The cost may be far less than building a new body or trailer.

We carry out insurance repairs for a number of insurance companies including IAG, AIA, Vero, QBE, AIG, FMG and Ando. From minor accident damage to full rebuilds including chassis straightening and suspension work, Mills-Tui can do it all. All work will be carried out to New Zealand regulations and re-certified to ensure your vehicle is fully compliant when it goes back on the road.

Utilising the latest 2D and 3D CAD technology, our Engineering team can design and build your body or trailer to meet your specifications. The team keep up to date with the latest New Zealand Transport Agency rules and regulations to ensure all vehicles are fully compliant and able to maximise productivity.
